Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay is currently seeking a Distribution Strategic Account Manager responsible for establishing and implementing sales distribution forecasts and objectives. The Distribution Strategic Account Manager develops distribution short and long range plans including objectives and strategies for the organization to maximize market potential and sales volume and has signature authority with a specified degree of autonomy in setting and implementing sales distribution objectives, budgets, etc. The Distribution Strategic Account Manager follows Inter-accountability management and internal controls processes and procedures, and selects and develops area sales distribution group which may report in to this position.
How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

• Sets the area sales distribution direction for organization sales distribution growth in order to maximize market potential in concert with company goals. Negotiates contracts and meets with key/high volume customers.
• Participates at area meetings and sets forth policies and plans to achieve area distribution growth, marketing objectives, distribution headcount planning, etc.
• Approves budgets and capital expenditures as set by top organizational level.
• Selects appropriate subordinate area distribution staff to ensure smooth growth to support company objectives and provides training where applicable.

Experience You'll Need:

• 10+ years with significant experience in distribution at management level.
• Bachelors degree in related discipline.
• Typical office environment with high degree of travel.
