Dispatcher

Description:

Recycling Express is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to manage an in-house fleet of approximately 25 drivers with various schedules and job types, including box trucks, roll-off trucks, dry van drop & hook, ocean containers, and specialty vehicles. The role requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently dispatch drivers and coordinate routes.

• Work closely with office staff and multiple warehouses.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with drivers and team members.

• Utilize Excel and Outlook proficiently.

• Apply dynamic routing skills to optimize deliveries.

• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Maintain strong organization and attention to detail.

• Quickly resolve problems and adapt to changing situations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous dispatch experience preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability to work Monday–Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional after-hours calls/texts and some Saturday mornings.
