Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment Management & Data-Driven Planning
Together with the Assistant Dean for Admissions, develops and implements part-time student recruitment and admission strategy.
Analyzes market research, together with the marketing department, to guide the establishment of strategic objectives, School goals, and recruitment strategies.
Develops plans for inquiry generation in alignment with Carey Business School goals and priorities.
Works with Associate Director, Operations to optimize use of CRM (Slate) for tracking recruitment activities.
Formulates, disseminates, and conducts ongoing review and evaluation of admissions policies to maintain a competitive position in the marketplace, achieve the desired mix of new students in part-time/online programs and ensure consistent, timely and fair guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Frontline Team Management
The Director is responsible for identifying and developing all culture, process, performance improvements, efficiencies for the frontline team in Admissions to provide the best possible customer service experience for prospective students.
Lead/develop a team, who typically deliver customer interactions across multiple channels, including phone, e-mail, and text messaging with expansion to other channels upon recommendation of director.
Responsible for establishing and monitoring metrics to assess effectiveness of frontline team.
Creates reports in order to ensure the team is on track to meeting set goals, efficient operations, workload balance, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Audit daily activity to ensure that processes are followed efficiently within the CRM (Slate).
Manage staffing and activities to ensure daily, weekly and monthly productivity goals are met.
Communication & Coordination of Activities
Manages how staff approaches conversions of inquiry to applicant.
Coordinates recruitment activities (specifically for part-time programs) with contracted business partners. Researches and proposes new opportunities for outreach and development of new business partner relationships to support recruitment of new students.
Coordinates admissions activities with marketing department activities to ensure proper promotion of admissions events on- and off-campus.
Collaborates with marketing on nurture campaigns and related initiatives and signs off on inquiry stage communication for part-time programs.
Promotes the School and its programs through formal and informal interactions with prospective students, peer institutions, and companies.
Implements and monitors ongoing coaching to ensure all direct reports exhibit accurate, current, and comprehensive program and admissions knowledge.
