The firms’ Valuation group is recognized as a leading specialist in the valuation of businesses, securities, and intangible assets for a wide range of tax, transaction and compliance purposes. The Director will be responsible for business development, marketing, and staff management.

Responsibilities
- Develops, grows and manages the group's Valuation Consulting practice
- Develops areas of expertise
- Manages/performs consulting engagements as required
- Assists with proposals and business development, including the development of marketing materials and web-based marketing initiatives
- Teams with personnel from other offices and industry groups to manage and develop consulting practices
- Attends valuations industry trade shows and conferences and participates in firm-wide marketing and sales programs
- Assists in the development of training programs for existing clients and prospects
- Participates as a presenter of topics Valuation seminars and webinars
- Writes and/or co-authors articles for publications Valuation periodicals
- Develops and participates in public speaking opportunities at industry trade shows and conferences
- Leverages technical knowledge and experience to provide effective project management and practice development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or economics required, MBA preferred
- CPA, ABV, CFA or ASA designation preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience required
- Demonstrated practice management skills and practice development success
- Outstanding client service skills
- Team player and deadline oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and set workload priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 10%
