Description:
Tipalti, one of the world’s fastest-growing fintech companies, is seeking a Director of Professional Services to lead and scale its global professional services team. This key leadership role involves overseeing customer project delivery, professional services P&L management, partner ecosystem development, capacity planning, and ERP-related implementations.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global professional services team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Set performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
Customer Project Delivery:
Oversee the successful execution of customer projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Develop and implement best practices, methodologies, and tools for project execution and customer satisfaction.
Act as an escalation point for project-related issues and drive quick resolutions.
P&L Management:
Own and manage the Professional Services P&L, ensuring financial targets are met.
Implement strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and resource utilization.
Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Partner Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology partners and stakeholders.
Manage a partner ecosystem to extend service capabilities.
Ensure partners align with Tipalti’s standards and deliver high-quality services.
Capacity Planning & ERP Implementations:
Implement capacity planning strategies to align with project demand and staffing needs.
Monitor resource utilization and adjust staffing levels for optimal efficiency.
Provide strategic leadership on ERP implementations and integrations (e.g., Workday, Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4 Hana).
Stay updated on ERP and fintech industry trends to continuously improve service offerings.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, ensuring solutions align with business goals.
Establish customer feedback loops to drive continuous service improvements.
Represent Tipalti at industry conferences, customer meetings, and professional networking events.
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
✅ 10+ years of experience in professional services, managing customer projects and P&L.
✅ Proven expertise in ERP systems & integrations (e.g., Workday, Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4 Hana).
✅ Strong global team management experience with a focus on customer success.
✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
✅ Ability to travel as needed to support global operations and customer engagements.
