Description:

Essential commitments:

  • Direct outreach to renters, workers, and voters, including door-knocking, worksite outreach, phonebanking, and texting (30% of time)
  • Relationship and leadership building, including one-to-ones, training, and meeting logistics (30% time)
  • Policy development and coalition-building, including research and stakeholder outreach (30% time)
  • Fundraising and organizational development (10% of time)
  • Be laser focused providing scaffolding and developing resources to build skills and commitment in others in every domain of the organization’s work
  • Have consistent and reliable transportation means.
  • Be able to work mainly evenings/afternoons and have weekend availability.

  • Be ready to work in a diverse team and community
  • Be willing to get up-to-date with COVID19, RSV, and flu vaccinations
  • Bring strong communication and organizational skills

Additional preferred, but not required qualities, include:

  • A background in developing, winning, and implementing policy, such as collective bargaining agreements, legislation, and ballot measures.
  • Language competency in Spanish, Punjabi, Vietnamese, or Mixteco.
