Description:
This key leadership role oversees operations across all facilities, ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. Under the direction of the CEO/President, the Director of Operations is responsible for achieving strategic goals by leading staff, managing business operations, and fostering organizational growth.
Leadership and Strategic Integration:
- Serve as the Integrator of the Leadership Team, aligning business functions to drive strategic goals.
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all teams.
- Manage Profit/Loss, ensure compliance with the Lifeline Physical Therapy Business Plan.
Operations, Business Development, and Strategic Growth:
- Collaborate with the CEO to identify growth opportunities, develop revenue streams, and manage business initiatives.
- Oversee Clinical Compliance programs to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Assist in budget preparation and management of key performance targets.
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical programs, administrative processes, and staff training.
Staff Leadership and Development:
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and retention for all departments.
- Conduct goal-oriented performance evaluations to Facility Directors and leadership roles.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, ensuring alignment with company values.
- Promote employee engagement through transparent communication and regular feedback.
Facility Director Leadership:
- Supervise Facility Directors, ensuring they meet productivity, financial, and clinical quality targets.
- Provide mentorship, ensure resource allocation within budgets, and enforce compliance with company initiatives.
- Conduct routine visits to locations to assess operational effectiveness.
Clinic Performance:
- Review key performance indicators weekly and work with Facility Directors to improve off-target performance.
- Ensure staff are properly trained, address procedural issues, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor clinical schedules and staffing to ensure optimal performance.
Program Management:
- Lead the planning and implementation, and management of clinical programs.
- Track program performance and manage internal programs through cost/benefit analysis.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve patient services.
Facility Management:
- Collaborate with Facility Directors to assess equipment and infrastructure needs and plan long-term upgrades.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to ensure clinic cleanliness, performance, and staff needs are met.
Marketing (Physician and Community):
- Oversee marketing strategies to improve referrals and enhance community engagement.
- Support outreach programs and strengthen relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other organizations.
- Evaluate referral trends and assist in recruiting and solidifying strong referral sources.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Uphold the company’s mission, vision, and policies
- Stay updated on healthcare trends and represent Lifeline at community events and industry meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality in all company and patient matters.
Minimum Training and Experience:
- Clinical degree in physical therapy or a related healthcare field; advance degrees or healthcare management a plus.
- Proven experience managing rehabilitation programs and leading teams.
