Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Oversight: Manage and deliver clinical nursing care to consumers receiving residential addiction detoxification treatment.
Team Leadership: Supervise and support the nursing team, ensuring high-quality consumer care.
Policy Development: Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures per regulatory standards.
Care Plan Management: Regularly assess resident care plans to ensure they meet individual needs and comply with all requirements.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance: Monitor adherence to health regulations and quality standards within the facility.
Staff Development: Provide training and development opportunities for nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
Medication Management: Oversee medication administration in collaboration with the Medical Director.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in clinical nursing (medical and psychiatric) and at least 2 years in nursing management and supervision.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
Expertise: Proficiency in evidence-based practices for patients undergoing withdrawal/detoxification from substance use.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance with relevant governing agencies.
Leadership Skills: Proven executive leadership abilities in management and staff development.
