Description:
Bachelor’s Degree earned from a regionally accredited institution in Administration, Marketing, or a business-related field required and five years of experience in sales, business development, and/or fundraising.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and 7 or more years of experience in fundraising or revenue generation for a non-profit entity.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a portfolio of donors and prospect, cultivate, and solicit for financial support of the College through the Foundation’s development and resource building activities, including fundraising for annual and major gift campaigns.
- Work closely with the AVP in planning, promoting, and executing Foundation and Motlow Alumni Association activities and events (including some community friend-raising and outreach events) which may occur during evenings and weekends.
- Assist with communications to the Foundation’s donors and potential donors, including general mailings, news releases, electronic newsletters, etc.
- Assist in the design of all creative and marketing collateral for Foundation including, but not limited to, brochures, invitations, campaign images, etc. in conjunction with the Marketing Department and the Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Foundation Services.
- Serve as an administrator for Award Spring, the online scholarship management system, Raiser’s Edge, the donor management system, and OneCause, the Foundation’s event and auction software, assisting with the implementation and strategic use of each.
- Assist with Foundation’s online and social media presence including, but not limited to, the creation of a stand-alone website which includes online store for alumni items.
- Research possible corporate donors and with presentation materials and expand grant opportunities.
- Oversee, track and process student scholarships and requests for textbook and emergency assistance.
- Manage records for employee giving campaign and monthly payroll deductions.
- Other duties as assigned.
