Description:

The Director of Finance & Accounting, based in Greater Raleigh Area of North Carolina, will lead a high-performing finance team of 14, to shape the financial strategy, oversee all financial operations, and ensure the business delivers a solid financial performance. The incumbent will work closely with local and international colleagues to drive the company’s North America growth ambitions and play a key role in the daily operations of the business, providing strategic financial planning and analysis to support the US and Canadian markets. This role directly reports to the deputy CEO.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required. Master’s degree highly preferred.
• 10 to 25 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting leadership roles, with a strong background in evaluating, managing and approving international transactions.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Thorough understanding US accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Demonstrated success in directing corporate accounting activities and leading finance staff.
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) roles preferred
• Professional cross-border communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures
• Proven ability to work hands-on and as part of a cohesive team, driving company-wide initiatives forward.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations to board-level stakeholders.
