Description:
We’re seeking a Director of Business Development with a strong understanding of healthcare and a passion for building meaningful partnerships. You’ll be the external face of Healthy BI, working directly with pediatricians, clinical directors, DPC leaders, and healthcare networks to grow adoption of our platform and shape how pediatric care evolves in the AI era.
You’ll help us open doors, build trust with clinicians, and convert conversations into lasting relationships. If you’re energized by speaking with mission-driven healthcare providers and helping them solve practical challenges with smart, scalable technology—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
• Identify, engage, and close partnerships with pediatric practices, DPC networks, and concierge care providers
• Represent Healthy BI in conversations with doctors, practice managers, and clinical decision-makers
• Educate prospective users on how Healthy BI enhances their workflows, improves outcomes, and drives parent engagement
• Build a strong feedback loop between product and market, translating physician pain points into actionable insights
• Represent Healthy BI at digital health, pediatrics, and DPC-focused events (in person or virtually)
• Develop a structured go-to-market playbook for new geographies and pediatric segments
• Work closely with marketing to shape messaging and with the founder to identify strategic growth opportunities
• Build and maintain a pipeline of warm leads through relationship-building and thoughtful outreach
What You Bring
• 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or healthcare sales
• Experience selling to or working with physicians, clinical directors, or medical practice leadership
• Strong verbal and written communication skills — able to build trust quickly and explain complex tech simply
• Passion for healthcare innovation and improving children’s lives
• Confidence navigating conversations around pediatric health, AI, and clinical workflows
• Self-starter with ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt in a startup environment
• Familiarity with CRM tools and outcome-based sales approaches (e.g., consultative selling, MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.)
