As the Director of Business Development, you will oversee the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service within the Marketing Department. This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a convenient day shift schedule.

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta is an 80-bed psychiatric and addictive disease hospital for children, adolescents, and adults. As a member of the facility management team, the Director of Business Development is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of facility issues including strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, and changing in programing.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Leading and overseeing the development and growth of profitable new business opportunities by developing and implementing marketing strategies to assist the facility in meeting business objectives
• Making contact with referral sources and establishing appropriate professional relationships with potential and current referral sources; routinely communicating with referral sources regarding satisfaction level with treatment at the facility
• Strategically analyzing and designating target markets for account managers and territory/account assignments
• Conducting ongoing in-service education and training in the areas of Sales Excellence, messaging, account management, service recovery, customer service, computer systems, time management and business development strategy
• Working with appropriate leadership team members to regularly obtain and effectively analyze and communicate available clinical outcome and patient satisfaction data
• Participating in the conception and development of various referral source campaigns including print, direct mail, collateral, advertising, social media, and web targets
• Proactively identify opportunities for enhanced pricing of services and developing, negotiating, and executing payer contracts
