Description:
Owkin is seeking a Director, Commercial Sales to lead strategic sales efforts with pharmaceutical companies. This role will focus on generating new leads, managing key accounts, and driving market positioning for Owkin’s AI-powered K Operating System, which automates drug discovery and diagnostics.
Reporting directly to the SVP, Head of Commercial, the Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Platform, R&Tech, Legal, Operations, and Corporate Development.
✔ Engage with major pharmaceutical clients across multiple departments, including C-Suite executives, R&D, HEOR, bioinformatics, and data science teams
✔ Secure new business deals while fostering long-term client relationships
✔ Promote Real World Evidence (RWE), AI, and predictive analytics to revolutionize clinical research
✔ Develop and execute sales strategies to scale the business and drive revenue growth
✔ Collaborate with internal teams to refine go-to-market strategies
✔ Proven success in commercial sales in pharmaceutical or biotech industries
✔ Experience in closing high-value technology, data, clinical trials, or diagnostic sales
✔ Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in relevant fields (Molecular Biology, Epidemiology, Genetics, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, etc.) or an MBA
✔ Strong industry network in R&D and drug development
✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
✔ Excellent English communication and negotiation skills
✔ Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce
✔ Experience working in VC/PE-backed startups
✔ Passion for AI, clinical research, and innovative healthcare solutions
✔ OTE Compensation: $187,000 - $250,000 (Base + Bonus)
