Description:
This position is accountable for developing and implementing a sales operations organization for NextEra 360, NextEra’s SaaS platform. NextEra manages $130B+ worth of renewable assets and NextEra 360 was created 10 years ago to improve NextEra's own asset performance. The position will analyze data to inform sales decisions and product development as well as manage the sales pipeline health and customer experience. Employees in this role will interface with various cross-functional teams to standardize the sales process.
The Director Sales Operations will enhance sales effectiveness and productivity. Duties include: collaborating cross-functionally on deal structuring, risk review processes and drafting Statements of Work; owning sales data, records retention and the CRM platform; defining and refining structured processes for efficiency; and training staff and other business units on the product, market, and processes. We are looking for a self starter with a bias for action, contagious enthusiasm for the product, and a commitment to excellence in creating processes and using data to drive long-term value. The ideal candidate will bring competencies in deal structuring, risk reviews, communication, organization, and efficiency.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and implements sales operations process to support NextEra 360 revenue in the Commercial & Industrial space
Implements and optimizes processes for commercial negotiations and risk reviews; owns Nondisclosure (NDA) negotiation and recordkeeping; assists Sales, Technical Sales and Engineering in drafting Statements of Work
Manages pipeline health and reporting, including deal phase status and order pacing
Gathers and analyzes sales and customer data, collaborating with the salesforce on metrics and action plans
Partners with Engineering, Product and Technical sales to develop and implement training programs and sales strategy for the salesforce
Manages and owns all technologies and services used by the sales team, including the CRM
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
