As a director of digital business services, you will…

  • Continue to expand and enhance the systemwide solution for the Licensed Stores standard point of sale: Starbucks Connect. Own the vision and set the direction for the future of this key solution and associated services. Act as the key point of contact for business-related and program-related escalations and issue management working with internal teams and external stakeholders. Represent the voice of the business and the customer in prioritization, alignment, and product decision forums for the Connect program and Starbucks Technology organization more broadly.
  • Support the co-creation and implementation net-new business processes that can scale according to the long-term evolution of the business brought by digital transformation (invoicing, reporting, analytics).
  • Build upon the Licensed Stores Digital Services Ecosystem to evolve ways of working and how our licensees interact and transact with Starbucks.
  • Steward existing Digital Services and create new ones that address unsolved or under-supported need states in the market. Explore and define how digital disruption as macro trend influences business models, products, systems, and in a way the organization interacts with clients.
  • Lead the development of new capabilities and channels to create data monetization opportunities for both internal and external consumption, adding differentiated value.
  • Work closely with Enterprise digital teams to design solutions and identify optimization opportunities that result in the most impactful experiences for customers.
  • Lead the strategic approach for Licensed Stores digital customer experiences, creating mutual understanding across internal and cross-functional stakeholders while delivering impactful experiences within Licensed Stores.

 

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • 10+ years of experience leading, coaching and developing large, high-performing, innovative teams.
  • 7+ years of leading in a high growth environment with a demonstrated ability in leading large-scale, cross functional projects with significant financial impact and involving teams and individuals across multiple levels.
  • 7+ years of experience and leading teams in strategic project planning, management and delivery including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk quality, integration, procurement, and communications.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience taking on roles of progressive responsibility.
  • A consumer-centric, technologically-savvy professional, skilled in bringing together Technology and Business priorities.
  • Experience writing business requirements, user stories and business cases.
  • 3rd party and vendor management experience including contract negotiations and execution across matrixed internal procurement and sourcing teams.
  • Exposure to human-centered design thinking a plus.
