Description:
The Systems Engineer is the primary technical resource for the regional Sales manager. Responsible for actively driving and managing the technology proposition and evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for the Infinera product portfolio. The Systems Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business commercial and technical customers. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle maintaining senior level relationships.

Personality: You will be self-driven with a positive outlook and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives. You will be reliable and determined with excellent communication skills able to see things from another person's perspective. Well-presented and business-like and sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel as needed within the region.

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in system engineering and possess a strong knowledge of DWDM technology. The candidate must also be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a young technical sales organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFP’s and when submitting reports. Must also be organized, analytical and able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
