Description:

Client Systems Automation Engineering delivers automated solutions for software processes to improve efficiency, boost performance, and maintain systems. As an automation engineer, you’ll have to work closely with other teams to help discover and eliminate problems by gathering requirements and implementing process automation. Sometimes this will include hardware or software, but other times you might be asked to automate service or business processes.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.

  • Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality.

  • Run tests for databases, systems, networks, applications, hardware, and software.

  • Identify bugs and quality issues in development, service, or business processes.

  • Install applications and databases relevant to automation.

  • Collaborate with other business units to understand how automation can improve workflow.

  • Gather requirements from clients, customers, or end-users to develop the best automation solutions. .

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Five (5) or more years of desktop engineering, automation engineering, or related experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant industry recognized certifications (Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) – IT Infrastructure, ITIL Foundation, CompTia Mobility+, CAP, CCST, CSTAS, CSTAA, CTAL-TAE. or equivalent).

  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skill with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.

  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
