Digital Production Specialist

Description:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Digital Production Specialist / Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital print production and graphic design, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with branding, social media, website design and traditional design preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients, external designers, and our internal design team to understand project requirements and objectives.

- Design and produce digital files ready for commercial printing, ensuring they meet technical specifications.

- Pre-flight, correct, and color-manage files for optimal print quality.

- Operate digital printing equipment and perform routine maintenance, operational repairs to ensure consistent output.

- Work with finishing department to produce final products, that would include knowledge and assistance in folding, cutting, laminating, and binding.

- Maintain a high level of quality control throughout the production process.

- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and software. Adobe CS experience is a must.

- Design & collaborate with team members on branding projects, social media / traditional marketing campaigns and print projects

- Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital file preparation and printing equipment.

- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to keep projects on schedule.

- Manage inventory of digital printing supplies and materials.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field preferred.

- Proven experience in digital print production and design (2+ years preferred).

- Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), Microsoft Office and Canva.

- Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles.

- Familiarity with digital printing machinery and finishing equipment.

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
