Digital Marketing Specialist

 

Description:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will lead the development and execution of marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. This role offers an average of 35-40 hours per week with the potential for increased responsibilities based on performance and goal achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Program Management: Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing programs, including web development, social media, Google Ads, social media ads, content marketing, and more.
  • Community Engagement: Research and propose community events to attend with promotional materials to promote the business locally.
  • Campaign Management: Develop and manage service, product, or content email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, scheduling, testing, and database management.
  • Content Creation: Create, proofread, and edit high-quality copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
  • Social Media: Develop and manage content and social media marketing programs, including posts, blogs, and public relations efforts.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate and monitor campaign performance by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and identify trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • CRM Utilization: Utilize CRM tools and programs to maximize customer relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website ranking, drive organic traffic, and increase online visibility.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is recommended.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Firm grasp of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
  • High level of creativity and ability to think outside the box.
  • Basic video and photo editing skills are preferred.
  • Some graphic design experience is preferred but not required.
  • Occasional local travel may be required.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, and Canva.
  • Fluency in search engine optimization (SEO) principles and practices, with the ability to develop and implement effective SEO strategies.
