Description:
The Digital Marketing Coordinator works in collaboration with the Communications Manager to implement existing communication and marketing strategies. The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing day-to-day tasks and communications under the larger umbrella of marketing.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organizing and editing marketing material for timely social media content creation
- Overseeing all social media platforms for the organization by keeping content and information up to date
- Implementing strategies of community management and engagement to deepen Dorill’s network of impact
- Understanding content creation, analytics, and insights to optimize attention on social media platforms
- Creating and utilizing advertisements of Dorill’s marketing needs, such as community events, open job opportunities, programming updates, and etc.
- Identifying new avenues for marketing and growth to support marketing initiatives.
- Researching and keeping up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends
- Monitoring and optimizing SEO
- Ensuring that the company’s website is up-to-date with mission & vision, latest fundraising initiatives, programming updates, and more
Qualifications
- BA in Business, Marketing, Communications or relevant experience in field
- Minimum 1 year experience curating content on social media
- Well versed and efficient in storytelling and sharing important messages
- Has working knowledge of press relation
- Graphic design and video editing skills
- Excellent copywriting and copy editing skills
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and tools like Google Analytics
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
- A team player as well as having the ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and in a competitive environment
