Description:
Graceland University is seeking a Digital Marketing Director who is passionate about helping students and their families achieve their dream of higher education. Successful candidates in this role will have a balance of both tactical and strategic digital marketing experience. They will be called upon to oversee and administer the University’s web properties, so they should have a knowledge of HTML, CSS, and more. They will have experience of WordPress for content management and will know how to manipulate the tool to achieve university goals. Additionally, they will supervise one or more team members and will have input into social media and paid media strategy. Required Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in digital marketing or related field
Strategic digital marketing experience
Understanding of WordPress as an administrator
Knowledge HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and other code languages necessary for web administration
A knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
An understanding of social media strategy and how it feeds organic traffic patterns
Excellent communication skills, particularly for the web
