Description:
We are looking for a Digital Designer/Art Director to join a team of digital design experts to develop consumer experiences that grow engagement and brand loyalty and bridge the Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 space for our Seattle based hot beverage client. You are passionate about building digital customer experiences for iconic brands. You will work with client and our teams to ensure expectations are understood and met from sale through development. You will also contribute to the strategic development of specified accounts and are responsible for the creative integrity of the work produced by Merkle. You will report to a Creative Director.
Essential Functions:
- Produce promotional and loyalty creative work for client brands rooted in emerging technology and gamification fundamentals.
- Develop powerful and valuable connections between client's goals, strategy, and creative work to guide indicators, while being able to go beyond what clients and partners can imagine.
- Collaborate with internal strategy, research, and data, account management, creative, and production resources to ensure creative delivery excellence and effectiveness.
- Understanding of new digital media, social and technology platforms, with the ability to apply to promotional, loyalty, and engagement strategies and outcomes for our clients.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and communication.
- Partner with Business leads to foster outstanding client relationships through creative and conceptual expertise.
- Work with team members to ensuring the creative product meets strategic goals and client expectations and is on budget.
- Hands-on design work and art direction on multiple projects with the ability to bring each new idea and design concept to life from conceptualization to completion.
- Advocate for and build new design styles
- Follow new technology trends and how tech can promote enhanced consumer/brand experiences
- Attend client meetings to lead the Creative team in presenting concepts and to support the sales and the project
- Offer original, untapped ideas to accomplish client goals
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's, Master's Degree or relevant experience in in Graphic Design, Digital UI development, Marketing, related field
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Specific experience designing complex advertising/marketing campaigns
- Specific digital/mobile design experience; print and other design experience
- Excellent conceptual and design skills
- Expert in design programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator, Figma
- Illustration skills
