Description:
Higher-Education client is seeking a Digital Content Manager to work with their team hybrid, onsite, 3 days in Manhattan (Mon, Wed, Fri preferred but flexible), 40 hours per week, ongoing.
Digital Content Manager Duties:
- Serve as the manager of social media platforms and digital marketing initiatives across platforms of the office of Alumni Relations, helping bring awareness to the University and the diverse stakeholder network
- Work with the hiring manager and other stakeholders on identifying, planning, and executing effective content and strategies to engage our alumni, parents, and friends.
- Responsible for daily digital content activities, including managing editorial calendar and posting content, monitoring and engaging with the online community, website and email content management, and collaborating with colleagues on marketing initiatives
- Track the performance of digital content including social media, email, and web.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year experience working with social media and digital platforms.
- An understanding of the social media space; knowledge of current trends and best practices for digital platforms and content.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Hootsuite).
- Ability to create engaging content that aligns with strategic goals, voice, and brand look and feel.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally; a strong writer with proven copywriting ability for online platforms.
- Highly attentive to detail and demonstrates excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; flexible approach to working with multiple stakeholders.
