Devops Engineer

Description:

DevOps Engineer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 50% telecommuting permitted): Design and code applications that are reusable, scalable and meet critical architecture goals. Write and review code to ensure production quality is high and passes accessibility constraints. Support infrastructure and platforms such as Kubernetes, VM, and various cloud providers where API Connect can be deployed. Work on Terraform, Ansible for automating and building infrastructure. Write Docker files and build Docker images. Configure cloud watch agents to monitor necessary health parameters of an application. Work in the software development life cycle exposure including design, development, test, build, deploy, configuration and maintenance of application and services. Utilize: Containerization (Kubernetes), Database Architecture (Cassandra, CouchDB & Solr), Programming languages (Node.js, TypeScript), IBM Cloud.
