This would include things like contributing to and enhancing our existing PingFed Puppet module, and writing developer-facing documentation within Securian's developer manual. Expanding our usage of PingVerify for associate onboarding or other use cases. Helping drive adoption of our Modern Authentication (CIAM) platform with a goal of providing an enterprise solution for authentication to customer facing applications and migrating from a legacy directory to a modern solution (PingOne for Customer). This role is joining an existing team of Cybersecurity professionals, so previous IAM or security experience is less important to the role, versus someone with a solid development background using CI/CD pipelines, with a desire to learn IAM tools, dig into the unknown, and help us drive forward our IAM processes and capabilities with a mindset of continuous improvement and automation. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage and configure infrastructure for a suite of enterprise IAM platforms. Build and manage infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code Be the voice of the developer on the team, bringing perspective as to how other development teams would best interact with our IAM tools/processes and then executing on these plans, including creating documentation on TFM (Securian's developer facing manual) and partnering with other developers to drive adoption and solicit ideas. Developing services or processes to make more of our IAM requests and processes available to other teams by self-service either through API or managed through code that can be updated via pull request. Participate in an on-call rotation supporting administration and operation of our IAM platforms. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years experience with application development in a large corporate environment using CI/CD pipelines such as Git, Jenkins, Puppet. Self-starter excited by the opportunity to dig into the unknown, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive them forward Excited by the idea of working in a fast paced environment, ability to quickly learn and adapt to working across different systems, and with different programming languages. Familiarity and ability to work in an Agile / Scrum environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience configuring, engineering, or supporting Identity and Access Management tools with a focus on automation and config as code. Cloud configuration and deployment via Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation). Experience with Cloud runtime services (e.g., AWS EC2, ELB, Kinesis, EKS).
