Device Qa Engineer

Description:

As Flock continues to introduce new products and customer expectations of our products increase we have a growing need to increase the maturity, coverage, and velocity of our quality testing. This role seeks to expand the capabilities of our manual quality engineering team to support additional testing, test case, test tooling, and test reporting development and help to increase the velocity with which we can reliably device release software across an increasing number, type, and maturity of products.

The Skillset
 

• Have 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, preferably with Android OS, Apps, and devices.
• Holds strong knowledge of common black box & white box software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Have experience in testing hardware devices (both production and prototype).
• Holds knowledge of Android Development tools such as Android Studios, and adb.
• Have the ability to identify root causes for defects and provide meaningful feedback to development teams
• Has experience doing test strategies and test planning.
• Holds strong communication and interpersonal skills. Both verbal and written.
• Have experience with common QA tools such as Tricentis, Jira and confluence.
