Description:
The Development Coordinator performs a wide variety of professional, administrative, and support tasks for the Questrom School of Business Development and Alumni Relations team. This position includes the organization, planning, and communication with multiple departments within development and alumni relations and across campus. The successful candidate will assist with appointment and itinerary scheduling for all frontline fundraisers, prepare requested reports, and develop expertise in database management. Additionally, the Development Coordinator is responsible for drafting correspondence, resolving any procedural and workflow issues, and issues within day-to-day events and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all office administrative tasks: Support Assistant Dean and Questrom DAR colleagues in daily office activities. Duties will include responsibility for database management and comfort with complex CRM system; maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings for the Assistant Dean and frontline teams; screening and directing phone calls for the office; photocopying, filing, and faxing; ordering and organizing supplies; coordinating travel schedules and details as well as post-travel expense reports.
- Contribution to fundraising: Maintenance of prospect tracking notes and contact reports for Assistant Dean and frontline officers. Run prospect reports, prepare briefings, and add light research support, when necessary, for school development team.
- Contribution to stewardship: Coordinate all school-based gift processing, gift acknowledgements, and donor rosters for Questrom school of Business.
- Assistance with events: Assist with planning and executing event details including mailings, catering, name tags, signage, printing, etc. Coordinate logistics with other University departments and external vendors (as needed). Manage RSVPs. Assist in composing pre- and post-event correspondence.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations for the Questrom DAR team: have oversight of meeting coordination, reservations, preparation, and minutes; responding to all requests. Additionally, assist in directing and training student workers as needed; handle of all correspondence.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- One to three years of relevant experience
- Advance computer and clerical skills
- Strong analytical and oral/written communications experience
- Experience with a customer relationship management software is a plus
