Description:
The Cabot Performing Arts Center is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to become part of our expanding development team. We are seeking a self-starter who can work independently in a fast-moving, lively, and fun environment. The Development Coordinator (DC) will join The Cabot at a time of growth for the organization. We are embarking on the final phase of our initial capital campaign and have just refreshed our strategic plan and direction and welcome the input of new team members. This position is part-time, 20/ hours a week, remote.
Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:? One year+ of administrative experience is preferred.? Experience working with donor databases.? A professional demeanor whether speaking to others in person, over the phone, on Zoom, via email or through letters.? Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to a high level of customer service.? Ability to work independently with minimum direction, primarily remotely, while driving deadlines with internal colleagues to maximize the effectiveness of projects and programs.? Highly organized and detail-oriented, flexible, and collaborative, with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.? Excellent written and oral communication and proofreading skills and an ability to communicate effectively to articulate the mission and goals of The Cabot.? Proficiency in donor database CRMs, Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and Google workspace.? Experience with Mac software is a plus.? Interest in and experience with the arts including film and live music events is a plus.
