Assist in gift processing and acknowledgment using the DonorPerfect CRM system
Assist with the logistics of the annual Masquerade at the Museum Gala
Run monthly reports
Process new applications for Museum membership
Create enticing emails to send to lapsed or soon-to-be-lapsed members to encourage them to renew memberships
Keep membership records up to date in our DonorPerfect CRM system
Create a monthly calendar of events, designed to increase memberships
Coordinate membership initiatives, including researching practices at similar institutions and proposing plans that seem to be a good fit for EAM
Keep inventory of membership cards and supplies, as well as front-desk handouts for prospective members
Track membership metrics from month to month
Act as the point person for COVES - Collaboration for Ongoing Visitor Experience Studies
Support and contribute to positive staff collaboration, outstanding visitor services, and safe and sustainable operations
Knowledgeable about all EAM Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines
Act as executive assistant to the Development Director and the Executive Director
Assist in other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or comparable field experience plus three years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge of CRM systems is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable speaking to and directing people of all ages and backgrounds.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
Current PA State Police Criminal History Clearance, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal History Clearance valid within the past five years. (If the applicant does not have clearances, the Museum will perform a background check and ask for clearances before the start date.)
