The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, system design and estimating in the commercial, industrial and residential markets.

 

Responsibilities:

● Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.

● Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine the scope of work and overall project requirements.

● Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, architects, engineers, owners and other stakeholders to develop accurate estimates and sales proposals.

● Review project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.

● Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information for estimating purposes.

● Prepare and submit sales proposals and fixed sum bids to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and projected schedules.

● Once awarded projects, prepare project documentation, submittals, project specific warranty statements, etc.

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all estimates, sales proposals and supporting documents.

● Participate in project meetings and provide input on all related issues.

 

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fire sprinkler sales, design, and bidding/estimating.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office and other estimating software.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

● Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

● Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is preferred, but not required.

● NICET certifications preferred.
