Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for designing functional systems for CNH’s line of Midrange combines. This includes:

• Development of mechanical systems and assemblies for Functional systems for combine harvesters.
• Design mechanical drives, sheet metal assemblies, and structural load bearing systems.
• Optimization of mechanical systems for fatigue life, cost, and weight using finite element analysis (FEA) and cost modelling tools such as Apriori.
• Develop concepts, layouts, models, and drawings for solutions to current product issues and development of new product designs being developed in accordance w/ platform objectives and schedules. Utilize appropriate engineering techniques w/ consideration of manufacturing processes and technology to produce cost effective designs meeting applicable safety regulations and standards.
• Summarize and effectively communicate key project details and status. Clearly document solutions. Manage new designs and solutions into production environments.
• Work effectively with a cross-functional and global team of individuals on complex problems in the development of robust solutions.
