Database Developer

 

Description:

Pleio is seeking an experienced Database Developer to join our Analytics and Insights team. The role will be to design, build, and maintain data integration routines for moving data from multiple source systems to a target system.

 

What you will do in this job:

 

Manage all data projects as a liaison between the business and IT including Lift, BI Warehouse, Reporting instance, and any other data projects

 

· Develop SSIS projects to handle ETL, transmission, encryption, and archiving of files received from our Partners and generated by Pleio

 

· Analyze data processing, data architecture, and reporting for incremental improvement in aspects of maintainability, extensibility, and integrity. Document our database topology, architecture, processes, and procedures

 

· Build and support operational reports for Pleio, its Partners, and Customers. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that reports and metrics identify business needs and opportunities for business process improvement

 

 

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

· Design, develop, and maintain Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to transmit, encrypt, and archive files received and generated.

· Design, develop, and maintain database tables, stored procedures, and supporting objects.

· Build and support operational reports for the company and clients.

· Document database topology, architecture, processes, and procedures.

· Develop SQL queries and support ad hoc data requests.

· Work with team members to ensure that reports and metrics identify business needs and opportunities for process improvement.

· Identify inefficiencies in the database platform and provide solutions

· Use problem-solving skills to assist in the timely resolution of business problems.

· Use analytical skills to resolve technical problems.

· Identify root causes for problems and propose solutions to prevent recurrence.

· Capability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders

· Support multiple departments with data/reporting needs

· Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
