My client is looking for Healthcare Data Scientist that has a passion for Healthcare Data to help their clients understand their data and make informed decisions about their benefit offerings.
Experience with Medical/ Healthcare Claims is a must. Experience with Predictive Modeling/ Statistical Modeling
Responsibilities:
Most of the time:
- Collaborate with clients and potential clients to grasp their analytical needs and transform them into formal analytic strategies, primarily interacting with benefits and finance personnel in Fortune 500 companies.
- Work closely with the client's data engineering, information security, and software development teams to implement analyses using coding best practices in R, Python.
- Create statistical analysis plans aligned with client requirements.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with clients to ensure the relevance and significance of analytic insights.
Requirements:
- Possess a Master's degree in statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Showcase proficiency in utilizing healthcare claims data in R, backed by a track record of over 1+ years in roles focused on claims-based analytics.
- Demonstrate expertise in crafting statistical analysis plans.
- Exhibit mastery in statistical methodologies, encompassing causal inference and machine learning.
- Demonstrate a history of authoring publications in peer-reviewed journals.
