Data Scientist

Description:

An exciting start up financial services company with a head office in Washington DC are looking for an ambitious Data Scientist to join their ranks as their flagship product goes to market in January!

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract valuable insights and trends.
• Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Communicate findings and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and reports. Utilize tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib to create informative dashboards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• At least 1 - 2 years' of experience in Data Science / Engineering
• Python
• Experience with GCP and BigQuery desirable
• Familiarity with MLOps
