How you will make an impact:
- Lead a talented group of Data Scientists and Business Operations Analysts who drive deep insights into our business and help us make better decisions. These analysts will be focused on different business drivers (growth, retention, & opex efficiency) across different business units (product, marketing, operations)
- Be a close business partner and credible advisor to Jerry’s entire leadership team by connecting the dots between data, insights and impact
- Develop a long term vision and nearer term priorities for the data and analytics team
- Focus the team on developing insights and predictions that result in concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement
- Develop and manage the roadmap for continual improvement of our analytics and reporting tools
- Partner with Data Engineering to build the foundational data architecture that will underpin your analytics framework
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Product Management, Business Intelligence, Business Operations or other quantitative disciplines
- Degree in statistics, economics, business, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
- Deep experience developing successful analytics-based solutions to business problems
- Exceptional critical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide and senior audience, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analysis
- Proven track record of solving ambiguous and complex data problems
- Proficiency using SQL to query large relational databases and ability to build and maintain processes to extract & integrate data from various sources
