Cyber Security Specialist

Description:

The role is targeted at maintaining and enhancing the cybersecurity infrastructure with a specific concentration on Operational Technology (OT) to safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility of company's data and resources.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain cybersecurity technology, with a specialization in areas such as Risk Assessments, Controls Engineering or Incident Response in the OT environment.

• Customize security solutions to align with unique business requirements, with a focus on OT systems.

• Use deep knowledge of IT and OT system architecture and capabilities to troubleshoot and rectify issues.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of OT-related cyber technologies, and provide strategic recommendations.

• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, with a focus on OT related threats and practices for effective mitigation.

• Develop procedures for implementing and maintaining secure and resilient OT systems.

• Manage the deployment of vulnerability management and logging agents, firewalls, and security zones with OT-specific considerations.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience.

• 2+ years of experience in the information security field, with a strong focus on OT security.

• Proven experience in deploying secure measures in at least one OT cybersecurity discipline.

• Working knowledge of OT network protocols and experience with OT network monitoring tools.

• Well-versed in Endpoint protection software, vulnerability management agents, logging agents, and firewalls, with capability to deploy these in an OT environment.
