Customer Service Representative

 

Description:

FedEx is currently hiring a Customer Service Representative to join its station operations team. This role involves providing accurate information and excellent customer service to clients while performing administrative tasks essential to keeping the station running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in problem resolution, customer inquiries, and promoting FedEx services. This position also requires physical handling of packages, ensuring timely processing and delivery.


Primary Responsibilities:

✅ Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, ensuring accurate information is provided.
✅ Assist customers with problem resolution, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
✅ Promote and sell FedEx services to customers when appropriate.
✅ Perform a variety of administrative support functions, contributing to efficient station operations.
✅ Handle and maneuver packages, including lifting up to 50 lbs and managing heavier packages with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
✅ Perform additional duties as assigned by station management.


Key Requirements:

✔️ Minimum Education: High School Diploma / G.E.D.
✔️ Ability to operate computer terminals efficiently.
✔️ Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment/assistance.
✔️ Strong human relations and communication skills for effective customer interactions.


Preferred Qualifications:

🌟 Prior customer service experience in logistics, courier services, or similar environments is beneficial.


Work Schedule:

📅 Tuesday to Friday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
📅 Saturday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM


Compensation:

💰 Hourly Pay Range: $18.58 - $27.72
