Customer Account Representative

 

Description:

  • Develops sales opportunities by building rapport, providing pricing, information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
  • Speaks with customers directly via phone and email.
  • Fills orders by working with customers, warehouse and logistics, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs.
  • Problems solves to meet customer needs by working with internal and external teams such as warehouse, logistics, vendors, and customers
  • Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history and informing them on enhanced product lines
  • Maintains communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
  • Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment and handle situations under pressure
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred, but not required
