Curatorial Fellow

 

Description:

The Curatorial Fellow realizes the efficient workflow of research throughout the curatorial process and the development of Lot Lab with direction from the Assistant Curator; ranging from regularly updating an internal public artist database to compiling resources such as academic and/or historic materials to support the development of site-specific conceptual designs. Additionally, the Curatorial Fellow realizes routine operational and arts administrative duties to support in the facilitation of the Triennial’s Public Art Accelerator program and the implementation of Lot Lab. Overall, the Fellow creates meaningful connections between artists, artworks, and audiences by supporting a wide range of duties augmenting projects and programs
The Curatorial Fellow is a part-time, term position that consists of 12 hours per week for a term of 6 months. The Curatorial Fellow assists in the curatorial research process, in the execution of operational and administrative tasks, and in the development of the curatorial vision for Lot Lab 2025. The Curatorial Fellow reports to the Assistant Curator and works with other team members to help ensure the Triennial’s vision of an open public art city.
