We are thrilled to welcome a Crude Oil Scheduler onto the team who will be responsible for scheduling crude movements on Enbridge and third-party pipeline systems while assisting the Crude Oil Trading Team with various tasks, in addition to having trading authority to increase profitability via batch trades and locational trades.

What you will do:
- Optimize and effectively lead Tidal’s pipeline space on designated pipelines.
- Obtain storage in contango markets, draw inventories in backwardation or pull/build inventories to take advantage of favorable market differentials (while maintaining strong inventory control)
- Facilitate pipeline movements/trades to ensure Tidal meets pipeline requirements – i.e.: batch trades
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of nomination process for designated pipelines.
- Connect with key counterparties to build strong customer relationships.
- Maintain hedge volumes within designated regions.
- Work with Sr. Commercial Advisor on Regional Accrual.
- Work closely with Traders to identify potential profit opportunities and act on them.
- Develop strong commodity quality control, to assure the value extraction of our contracted movements
- Develop effective scheduling strategies to increase our economical through-put on apportioned pipelines to enhance incremental bottom-line contribution
- Facilitate interactions with all supporting departments (i.e., Accounting, Risk, Contracts, Tax, Credit, and others) to implement strategies for Tidal-US objectives, and to ensure all contractual objectives meet requirements set forth by all departments.
- Calculate and handle volumetric positions by price basis and ensure all positions are hedged accordingly while maintaining a managed position (price neutral) position
- Identify and Negotiate Transportation and Storage Agreements to enhance system profitability
Who you are:
You have:
- 3+ years of industry experience
- A Business of Science related degree from a recognized institution
