Description:
Individuals working as Crossplex Sports Events Managers within the Merit System are responsible for sourcing/canvassing new sporting events for all three venues within the Birmingham Crossplex. They create bid presentation packages and are responsible for securing vendors through the RFP (Request for Proposal) process. Employees in this job class work to create, negotiate and execute event agreements between event stakeholders and the City of Birmingham/Birmingham Crossplex. They also provide all deliverables required for event operations in conjunction with event stakeholders. Work is evaluated by the success of the operation of the facility and is subject to general review by the Director.
