Description:
The successful candidate will lead a diverse team of professionals developing and implementing strategies, roadmaps, tools, and tactics that drive capability convergence and integration to accelerate acquisition of capabilities. These capabilities will support operational mission needs for the Department of the Air Force to distribute critical data and services while defending mission systems, weapon systems, and the underlying supporting infrastructure (cloud and terrestrial) from installation to the tactical edge. The work requires the ability to build and sustain partnerships with multiple sponsors and stakeholders that include ACC, as the Lead Command for Cyber, C3BM, SAF/CN, PACAF, operational units, and many other organizations to identify use cases and perform operational analysis, build technical requirements, develop executable plans, drive execution of proof-of-concepts, and support acquisition and implementation of advanced capabilities that address Operational Imperatives (OI7 / OI2 / OI5) challenges. Solutions must consider capabilities that can be applied to fixed and mobile environments to ensure support for All-Domain operations.
Candidates should have demonstrated successful track record, exposure to or experience with advance infrastructure, cloud (includes Hybrid), Zero Trust, ICAM, Software Defined – WAN, Hyper-converged technologies, Tactical Comms, DevSecOPs, and Cyber Operations concepts and frameworks in support of the DoD. As a front-line leader, the PL will interface with multiple senior sponsors, helping to explore and develop solutions for the most pressing challenges and mission needs ensuring MITRE is working priority problems. Use of Digital Engineering tools to perform analysis and modeling of requirements, architectures and capabilities is also required. The PL will work with key sponsors as a trusted advisor, while thinking ahead of the current challenge and leveraging the unique vantage point of MITRE to lead the sponsor to identify the priority challenges that demand solutions for mission impact.
