Creative Art Services Designer

Description:

YOU WILL:

• Responsible for designing, coordinating, and presenting finished art or conceptual for current or potential customers
• Develops original artwork as requested by the customer and follows through with suggested artwork as appropriate.
• Achieves the performance deadlines established by the Company
• Communicates with customers regarding plant-manufacturing procedures
• Provides information, answer questions and proposes solutions for customers, sales reps, and production personnel
• Travel to sales field locations, working with schools in individual art planning sessions (Required Company Travel - Approximately 10% of the year)
• Ability to work within a team-based structure
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Demonstrate consistent customer-focused attitude
• Ability to develop, maintain and follow standards

YOU HAVE:

• Associate degree in Graphic Design or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience. Additional experience may substitute for some educational requirements
• Strong background in graphic design and illustration
• Good working knowledge of the printing process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient at designing on the MAC and or IBM platform
• Proficient working in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge of InDesign a plus
• Must be able to work independently, possess a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
• Must be able to make presentations to groups and create illustrations by hand on demand
• Self-discipline in a remote home office environment
