Creative Art Director

Description:

We are not looking for web designers, this role is fully creative and requires leadership, guidance, including illustration and graphic talent and the willingness to evolve and learn new aspects of the industry.

Qualifications

· Expert in Adobe software - mainly Illustrator and Photoshop

· Capable of vector illustration as well as detailed illustration in Photoshop using Pantone colors.

· Advanced understanding of design principles (typography, composition and attention to color and detail are a must have)

· Fresh and inventive thinking

· Highly Organized

· Able to work with many different personalities across the art room, sales representatives, and production.

· Capacity to come up with new and creative graphic ideas and design layouts.

· Attention to details and deadlines.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manager/leadership role. This must include hiring and team development.

Day to Day Responsibilities

· Review schedule and stay on task with deadlines.

· Create and review art concepts with team members and sales representatives.

· Render concepts in Illustrator and Photoshop.

· Create and edit Comps, list colors using the Pantone system and learn specialty ink techniques to elevate your concepts.

· Lead, coach and provide guidance to the artist on your team.
