Benefits to you

  • We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees [OR up to 99% of medical insurance premiums for part-time employees], including mental health coverage.
  • The hourly equivalent for this position is $23.98 - $37.20. [OR the annual salary for this position is $49,872 - $77,376.]
  • 10 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, 3 personal business days, separate sick and vacation paid leaves (prorated for part-time employees), and other employee benefits such as optional insurances and flexible spending plans.
  • OJD will pay you a 5% allowance for bilingual skills (includes ASL) if you can pass a skills test and are assigned to use those skills on the job!
  • In this job profile, we offer candidates new to OJD the first two steps of the salary range. You are potentially eligible for a 5% annual increase.

Yamhill County Circuit Court

is hiring a Family Law Case Processing Clerk & Cashier (Court Operations Associate).

In this role…

As a Cashier, you will accept and receipt payments for filings, fines, bail, security release, and other monetary transactions. Verify and reconcile cash drawers along with opening and closing tills. You will also assist the public at the service counter and on the phone by answering questions, supplying forms, and processing records requests.

As a Family Law Case Processing Clerk, you will accept and record documents filed with the court, checking for accuracy and completeness along with recording and processing orders and judgments, of the court. Assist litigants and attorneys in using the court systems and inform them of court procedures and policies. Maintain inventories of forms, pleadings, and resources used by parties. Provide parties with contact information, resources, and other information for services and legal aid programs.

You will also be participating in court related activities that include interaction with judges, management, attorney’s, litigants, and other court staff.
