Corporate Paralegal

 

Description:

  • Word processing/formatting of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, correspondence, and redlining using Office 365 and Adobe
  • Managing client files and records, both electronic and physical, including corporate records such as organizational documents, resolutions, and minutes
  • Familiarity with data rooms for Transactional and M&A work
  • Real Estate tasks including preparation and recording of deeds, and creating and maintaining lease abstracts
  • Corporate/Compliance duties such as Secretary of State filings, annual report filings with various states, ongoing compliance requirements, and obtaining EINs
  • General tasks including calendaring and docketing, maintaining schedules, and meticulous attention to detail
     

Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Paralegal certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred
