Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports in the development and maintenance of an annual conference, sponsorship, and tradeshow master list and budget
- Supports in the development and maintenance of a tradeshows purchasing list (including collateral, giveaways, etc.)
- Coordinates shipping of tradeshow materials and/or equipment to conferences etc.
- As directed, manages on-site communications and coordinates conference/event participation
- Supports maintenance of CRM Database and contact lists
- Coordinates conference registration, advertisements, membership dues, and participation, directly with Corporate BD Director and, in coordination with, the Area Managers and Area Business Development Leads
- Develops relationships with professional and industry-specific organizations, clients, architectural/engineering and related firms
- Coordinates pre- and post-conference activities including materials, equipment, and debriefs
- Assists with developing a list of prospective opportunities
- Supports Corporate BD and/or company initiatives, as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or field related to construction
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development/Event Coordinator-related position
- Familiar with the A/E/C industry
- Knowledge in principles and best practices of marketing and business development
- Works well with all types of people, and without close supervision
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, persistent, tactful, enthusiastic, resourceful and creative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Travel Required (up to 25%)
