Description:
This role requires flexibility and ability to maintain global relationships, good communication and presentation skills, providing clear and qualitative data analysis for the higher management to support decision-making. You should be a detailed oriented person, which the capability of managing changes. You should also possess detailed understanding on TI procedures, finding opportunities for optimization and providing benchmarking.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of tool-install day-to-day operations including dynamic schedule, quality control, manpower resource planning, material inventories, work procedure, document compliance, cost management and contractor management.
- Drive and support ID1 TI project through the various phases of design, construction. Install and qualification.
- Provide hands on equipment support and maintenance for systems under your control.
- Always execute with safety first behaviors
- Track TI project schedule status in TMQ/TIQ
- Drive BKM alignment.
- Drive TSR and TUM Data System alignment.
- Tool Installation Design Package standardization
- TI Material spec alignment
- Standardize and consolidate documentation for all modules Tool type.
- Manage cost performance to budget.
- Build close and effective relationships with Boise Site Facilities and Supplier teams.
- Understand and adopt best safety practices across the project.
- Lead and drive continual cost reduction programs for tool-install activities to support department, site, Facilities global cost saving goals.

- Track metrics for benchmarking ID1 TI Performance. Identify and share BKMs across sites and track compliance to agree upon alignment to Best Known Method (BKM).
- Provide tactical support and coordination for the Fab as required for issues of Safety, Output and Cost.
- Work together with Facilities and Supplier teams to problem solve.

Requirements:
- Solid understanding of DiFI (Diffusion and Implant) equipment and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant semiconductor experience.
- Good knowledge and background in Wafer Fab Facilities systems or Manufacturing production equipment, with direct experience in HVM tool ramps preferred.
- Proven ability to manage and direct both internal and external resources including contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical thinking and project management skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently, with excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
