Description:

We are working with a growing, regional Senior Living Facility that is looking for a new Controller to join their team. This company is growing quite a bit, adding three to the accounting staff just in the past couple years, so it is an exciting time to get in with them. They also offer a hybrid schedule!

 

Job Duties:

  • Provide financial leadership and oversight of accounting functions and department staff
  • Accounting process improvement and documentation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
  • Responsible for timely financial close, financial statement preparation and reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, analytical reporting, maintaining bank and insurance relationships.
  • Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
  • Oversee Staff Accountant and Admin

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
  • Healthcare, real estate, or construction experience required
  • 6+ years of progressive experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate with upper level management
