Construction Project Manager

 

Description:

As an Experienced Project Manager with a background in construction, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate all project activities and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
  • Budget and Cost Management:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to optimize project costs.
  • Quality and Safety Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce quality control and safety measures on all projects.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest industry standards.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and vendors.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment to achieve project goals.
  • Client Communication:
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress.
  • Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during the course of a project.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and project correspondence.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management and clients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
